Freehand Profit continues to carve out his niche, re-working popular sneakers into post-apocalyptic headwear. Up next is the Nike Zoom Rookie “Galaxy”, that late comer to the galaxy party that came in a couple separate, glow in the dark versions for its eventual release. The creative piece of sneaker art even goes so far as to make use of the unique hang tag, throwing the “Remove Before Flight” piece into the mix. Get all the angles for this latest Freehand Profit gas mask custom via the shots we’ve lined up for you after the jump and stay tuned to see if he ever ups the ante and goes straight for the “Galaxy” Foamposite One.
Is it art? Debatable.
Is it relevant. Perhaps.
But I'm 100% sure the mask works as self-promotion for the dude and his site.
I just don't get the concept behind this. OK it's art, beyond that whats the point? Is he selling them? If I scribble on a Yeezy with a crayon would that get me on sneaker news??
