Run DMC and adidas will forever be linked, that golden age rap group from Hollis, Queens having done a huge amount to help the Three Stripes out as far as US sales were concerned back in the 1980s. The connection is referenced once again, this time on a commissioned, custom set of the adidas Originals Superstar 80s created by Revive Customs. The sneakers will apparently appear on the feet of surviving members of the seminal group in an upcoming commcercial spot. Stay tuned with us till after the click to see the sneakers ahead of that and let us know if Revive Customs did the kings of rock justice on this one.
Beautiful, especially the Jam Master Jays. Adidas should have made these wearable without laces years ago.
@IgotthatFIRE that last sentence just blew my mind...makes perfect sense, as far as why Adidas hasn't made a laceless version of this shoe
