What’s with the sudden influx of celebs and pro-athletes showing off their kicks? Gary Payton, whose name will become household once again in the sneaker community, recently rocked his Nike Zoom Flight ’98 The Glove Retro on feet, revealing a “GP” embroidery on the medial side of the upper. It’s likely that he is wearing a PE version of the 2013 Retro, but even if they came blank, we’d still be happy. What’s exciting about the The Glove re-issue is that Nike isn’t stopping with OG colorways, because we already know of those crazy Miami Heat and Air Tech Challenge-inspired versions that are scheduled for 2014. Are these a must-have for you? Let us know in the comments below.
