Yohji Yamamoto laid claim to the craziest adidas ever created until Jeremy Scott came on board and captured the sneaker world’s attention. So now that Three Stripes is well established as arguably the mainstream leader in fashion forward lifestyle sneakers, this newest style stands out just as much as it feels right at home. This upcoming Rick Owens for adidas design is a midtop that feels more like a high thanks to a cloud-like tooling setup and tongue height that nearly doubles the upper. These exaggerated elements are balanced nicely by the shoe’s clean lines and elegant colorway, so take a closer look below and let us know if this style slated to drop early next year will be worth the half a stack at which they’re expected to retail.

They actually don't look terrible but the people who decided that these were worth half a stack at retail must of been higher then them big ass tongues when they made that choice.
