When coming up with an association between Vans and the word ‘binding’, it’d be natural to think about Off the Wall’s snowboard boot range. In the case of their skate shoes, ‘binding’ refers to the eyestay piping we’ve seen on this silhouette a couple of times before. The Vans Sk8-Hi Binding comes to us in a couple of twill uppers courtesy of the California Collection, these new drops adding reflective laces that set them apart from any of the earlier releases. Check out photos of the Laurel Oak and black pairs after the jump, then buy yours str8 from Vans.
