Junior Griffey’s back for the All-Star game. Unfortunately they’ll just be his shoes making an appearance and not his presence in the Home Run Derby. In honor of the MLB All-Star game arriving in Queens this weekend, Nike will be releasing the Air Griffey Max 1 “MLB All-Star”. The shoes feature a unique colorway with a speckled midsole, icy clear bottom, and a grey grid pattering in what looks like an homage to the World’s Fair Unisphere in Carona Park just minutes away from Citi Field. For a better view scroll below and pick up the shoes this Saturday, July 13th at retailers like 21Mercer.
