Sneaker Con NYC was a huge event by all accounts. All you had to do was take one look around the show floor during peak hours to realize that it was, by a large margin, the biggest stop yet for the convention. Helping pull folks in the door were the likes of Supra, who set up shop with some exciting forthcoming footwear styles including goodies from their Lil Wayne anchored collection, and adidas, who brought big man legend Dikembe Mutombo through to talk shop and mingle with the fans. Another interesting sight included the booth of Long Island’s Extra Butter, who surprised us by showing up not to sell sneakers, but to tease attendees with promise of an upcoming Asics collab circling in on a Kill Bill theme. I went yes it was hot as hell in there but there was a lot of heat there for sale and for some deals yeah your high end stuff was still high but your stuff in the 300-800 range you could find most of those kicks for deals just had to ask copped another pair of cool greys for a steal $210 so I had a good sneaker con defiantly If you ever go pre order your tickets.
I feel like at these conventions sneaker companies new or in working should use these conventions as a way to introduce new sneaker designs to the game or Q&A the people what they want to see in the future. Like E3 or Comic Con introduce previews, new shoe ideas, companies, and whatever else you can for the sneaker industry.
So help me understand.... We're there other classic kicks being sold because all these pics are the same foams and Jordan's that released this year... Makes me feel good that I skipped this event... Besides the kd4's, don't really see the hype...
Actually, I live in Moscow, Russia. And idk how it works. Can someone explain me where do the sellers get all of this sneakers? From their own collections or ...?
Was a great event. Plenty of hot kicks... Grabbed a pair of mutombos & a couple pair of Js there... But it was packed in their... Overall good sneakercon. Been to 3 of them dis yr & it had da most variety.
Nice stuff, although every Con looks about the same but I know the on feet pics will show some more great
