What would happen if you combined the gracefully aged adidas ZX 8000 and a relatively new world-beater in the Nike Roshe Run? Yohji Yamamoto has a good idea of what that might be like, his adidas Y-3 Qasa Low looking the part with its sleek, sock-like upper, and pillowy sole. The eyestay and heel counter on these are drawn from the iconic ZX 8000, but it’s hard not to notice the overall shape and especially that sole, and not add it to the list of Roshe successes. This one will run you quite a bit more and is accordingly more limited, so if you’re looking to up the ante on your minimalist sneaker game, grab these new Qasa Lows from retailers like Kith.
