Debuting nearly month ago at the home store in Philadelphia, Ubiq’s Poor Richard-inspired New Balance 1600 ‘The Benjamin’ is coming up on a wider release this weekend. The first ever US-born 1600 collaboration drops approximately one year after the ill-fated ‘Liberty, Justice & Freedom’ trio was to have established that precedent. And while these have similarly patriotic vibes, instead of spreading the look across three designs, this one has all the red, white and blue glory to itself, along with a bit of peanut butter leather to lend a premium touch befitting the namesake statesman. Check out some new images after the jump and be ready for these this Saturday at top New Balance retailers like Cincinnati’s Corporate.
