Kobe Bryant is so strongly connected with the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 that some consider it the ‘Zoom Kobe 0′. Here’s one of several colorways created for the Black Mamba, a sample in white that would be for home games with Lakers accents, except instead of purple, these go royal blue. These 2003 look-see samples further stand out from the pack of Huarache 2K4s by replacing the storied series’ swirling logo with an 8 ball-ish insignia referring to his number for the first ten NBA seasons. Check out this rarity in more images after the jump and let us know how they compare to other Kobe Zoom Huaraches we’ve seen over the years.
I love 2k4's. The white black and red always looked clean wit grey sweatpants. These are cool but fuck Kobe. I would of bought my mother a fleet of houses.
I admit, i wasn't too crazy about them when they first came out back in '04, but eventually they grew on me. Compared to all of this busy gaudy basketball stuff they put out these days, I say this is a decent-looking shoe, classic even. And in addition to that, these things are sooo comfortable! I could see why half the league was rockin them.
was never a huge huarache 2k4 fan.did like him rockin the fab five retros at start of the 2003 season..that said we really need samples of the kbix already. always wondered how his line would have gone if he started his career at da swoosh!
