This year will be the first one in a while to offer up a Holiday Air Jordan XI release that’s never been done before. That would be the Air Jordan XI in black, gamma blue, and varsity maize that’s pictured here. The sneakers are rumored to be connected to an over-arching “Laney” story line to coincide with the return of that Air Jordan V style, but for what it’s worth the blue hue used on these doesn’t quite match up with that retro. See the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue” below and give us a heads up if they’ll be heading to your collection when they release on December 21st.
Air Jordan XI
Color: Black/Gamma Blue-Varsity Maize
Style Number: 378037-006
Release Date: 12/21/13
Who all thinking about camping!! Unfortunately, I know all hypebeast will stand in line just to make a extra buck... I 8 hypebeast
lol cats saying easy pass sureee u know u hate that light color of the jumpman n the yellow parts but yall gonna copp stop fooling urself
Never thought I'd say this, but this is an XI I don't care about (and I've copped every XI holiday release since the Space Jams). Damn.
I like them im coppin the tacis and these...i live in new orleans so i might wear a throwback chris paul jersey
I wouldn't write these off just yet. They look like they have some promise, judging by the colors and the colorblocking. If the price was a little bit lower I would mos def cop.
Could care less what anyone else says about them..unlike most I have a mind of my own & Im loving these shits can you say COPPED!!!!!
@daddiesdick30 I think a lot of people here have a mind of their own as well and the consensus seems to be leaning heavily towards these joints is weak but do you bruh. No one's stopping you. :D
We know the game e everyone says it's an ugly shoe to take hype off it. When it doesn't do nothing but make these lames want them more. The ones talking them down will be the ones trying to get em come release day. If you wana make others not want the shoes shouldn't comment on them at all. Just a heads up you lames.
@isaacdexx You really think somebody on just one website has that power? come on bruh think sometimes.
@isaacdexx Really? Cause I know lot's of people when we say a shoe is weak we mean just that. It's weak. Hype or no hype if you want a shoe bad enough you'll get it but for me and it looks like many others these genuinely aren't worth copping. I have two pairs of custom bred 11's, one unworn...why would I need these? The shoe was ok until I saw the yellow 23 in back. That's just not what I'm into for 11's.
If Nike's going to mix up colors like that at least do it like the Air Max, New Balance, Reebok or Asics and the limited run color ways from these brands ALWAYS kill the general releases IMHO.
@isaacdexx dont speak for me ....if i dont like, i dont buy.....my money goes to other things besides shoes and i wont waste it on sum shyt I dont like, plain and fucking SIMPLE!
That's your opinion and there are some that speak truth but majority of the lames saying their ugly are just downplaying it to basically think their swaying others thoughts about getting the shoe.. I buy what I like and yellow is something new that's never been put on a 11 besides exclusives Michael gets and customs. Saying the yellow is what makes them bad is a whack excuse to talk them down. If you don't like them don't get them but we need a better excuse than the simple hits of yellow. Like the icey blue soles that are gona yellow soon as moisture hits em not the lame brain reasons most people are giving & it's not a shot at your personal preference,do what makes you happy bro.
@isaacdexxThat's an interesting theory bruh, one I've yet to hear but maybe because I'm new to sneaker boards/conversations but old enough to have had the originals of these shoes before "re-releases" or "retros".
"Saying the yellow is what makes them bad is a whack excuse to talk them down." - That's your opinion and I'm not going to go on and on about it but it's one of those little details that breaks the shoe for me. Looks like a "misunderstood" replica. The Chinese do this all the time. Rep a legit release or custom and leave some little detail confused like a red jumpman on a two color blue pair of J's. The others are:
1. That's a nice pattern and awesome blue colors, the majority of which are on the BOTTOM of the shoe. FAIL.
2. You yourself mentioned the yellowing, hence why my two customs of this shoe are completely blacked out. FAIL.
3. I actually don't need to give you or anyone else another reason beyond the hits of yellow since I work for my loot and I decide what I spend it on so to your point and rightfully so I won't be getting them.
I think we can walk away from this respecting each others differences in opinion and me not copping these just means there's another chance one more pair will be out there for someone who's feeling them. If you're a sz 11 that could be you bruh :)
@isaacdexx Truth... it's gotten to the point of being corny... they just come in to the comments of every hot shoe thats dropping and say it's lame/terrible to try and bring down hype... but the funny thing is... some of the new people to shoes actually believe them lmfao
