Vans resurrected the original ‘Palm Leaf’ print last summer, bringing it back in OG colorways and applying new styles to the floral look. It’s applied to a few more Sk8-His and Eras in the interim, and now another of the Off the Wall classics puts a modern spin on this vintage pattern. The Vans Vault Slip-On ‘Leather Palm Leaf’ Pack uses embossed fronds on luxurious brown and navy leather uppers for a tonal effect, and you can see both depicted in greater detail below to tide you over until the September release.
“The archived Palm Leaf motif returns this fall for Vault by Vans’ Leather Palm Leaf pack. Originally issued as a canvas print decades ago, the Palm Leaf resurfaces as an embossed pattern across two premium leather colorways of the Classic Slip-On 59 LX. The embossed version of the Palm Leaf creates a subtle and sophisticated rendition of this classic print. Available in bitter chocolate and navy, each pair features tonal gore binding, heel mustache detailing and foxing stripes atop Vans’ iconic waffle sole. The Leather Palm Leaf editions of the Classic Slip-On 59 LX ship this September to select Vault retailers.
