Everybody complaining about the price. The quality might not be worth it but have you ever heard of supply and demand? We live in a free market economy, get over it!
I'm going to get the Black and red pair. Will probably wait til they go on sale though. Ppl complain about the price but Foams have been $200 or better for the past 6-7 years. They were basically $200 when they first released if you're including tax. If you plan on paying $250 for the Jordan Vs (with technology that is 20 yrs old) you should have nothing to ay about these
Glad I have no interest in the Lebron 11s, in personally opinion they are a down grade in model the 8s,9s and 10s look better to me. Not liking the direction Nike is going in with Lebron's.
Theyre actually pretty dope lookin. But ive been passin on alot of kicks now a days. I do cop shoes that bring back memories from when I was a kid and we use to have to skip first half of school on Wed to cop Js go back to school rocking them. Then go too the principle office for detention..lol those were the days. Im not in school anymore where I can show case my kicks. All I do is work and go to the gym and lift weights and pretty much no one cares about what shoes im wearing. Theres always going to be buyers if you can afford them do it. At the end of the day there just kicks. But I do love lookin at these sites and reading comments its always entertaining.
funny all the haters because nike makes money for shareholders . if every one of you complainers did not buy the shoe it would not make the slightest difference. would still sell out and you would miss out. man up and buy up
Who ever pays retail price for GR Lebrons are fucking idiots, these should be like $170 or less seriously Nike got they customers by the balls now days.
Like dude below me none are worth copping. You can clearly see that the armourposite is glued on and will start peeling off after a few months or wear and tear from basketball. Plus bron's asking Sandusky prices, raping these kids hard. Fuck Nike and bron for doing sad price hikes, whoever is responsible for the price change is a greedy ass capitalist. BOYCOT NIKE AND LEBRON"S NOW TO STOP THE RIDICULOUSNESS THEY SUBJECT YOU TO! Because GOD know's I've never once bought one single pair of the greedy fucks shoes..
I'm coppin da gamma blues. Don't kno if I will cop dat many 11s dis season but I do like those... I bet da low top version is gonna b crazy lookin
prices again going up...nike lives in a different dimension. i m reducing my nike/jordan purchases.. shitty quality, price incraese for no reason. i hope one day everyone will realize how greedy they are.
No1 is gonna boycott Nike. Espc when da NFL, major college football, basketball & futbol clubs are all outfitted by Nike. And as soon as adidas contract is up, Nike will b outfitting da NBA again
@isaacdexx lebron has NO say over the price bro . He is not selling the shoe , Nike is.
@NickBartzis So are groceries fool, get over it
@NickBartzis Here is what you gotta do if you wanna make that happen and you will have to go Syria-style on them get a whole bunch of people and just break-in into a Nike Factory and vandalize the place destroy the machines and spray paint you want lower prices. That is all and they will get the picture. Otherwise peaceful protest isn't going to work anymore they are have very tolerable with that sense of plan.
200 is nothin compared to wat dudes spend on eBay... And everythin goes up in price from gas, to milk, to clothes to cars to shoes... So it jus comes down to buyin or not. Cuz at da end of da day, da price will continue to increase & people will continue to buy... JB can say in 2015 Js will retail 200 & dudes will STILL line up, crash internet sites & get as many raffle tickets they came to cop. For a lot of dudes, da obsession & da psyche of coppin da next big sneaker release has a much more greater impact then there common sense. So I don't see Nike or JB slowing down anytime soon...
@NickBartzis if we all unite and not buy their stuff.... they will lower their prices even their clothes are over price....
@Da_Real_Big_Infinite i think it used to be reebok before that actually
Actually, Lebron does have a say because KD made it clear when he was putting out his shoes that he didn't want them to go beyond $100. Now, they're starting to go a little higher than those first pairs, but he clearly had an influence over the pricing, so you can't say LBJ is left totally powerless on a decision like that. He's their golden prize pony, Nike will do anything he asks.
@NonhypedYou wanna go through all that trouble just for some leather and rubber. Wow.
I have no problem paying the price hike I don't like paying more for cheaper crap jordan retros will break on you faster than cp3s and melos kicks and that's crazy
@saralee @NickBartzis I don't see that happening.I mean its a good idea but a good idea that is not going to work because no one will completely stop buying Nike sneakers because Nike will make or retro a shoe that you like or need in your collection we live in a era where price doesn't matter anymore that's why Nike is jacking up the prices. Its the celebrities, hypebeasts , and hipsters that got sneaker game so fucked up. Thus bringing in high retail prices for people that actually like the shoe for its design and look.
@saralee i have started spending money in reebok, adidas and asics. very disappointed with the quality first( after 9-10 times of normal wear, my 180euros official jordan retail price, start losing their colors from the midsoles...aka jordan 3,4..leathers break like paper..jordans1,3,4,5,6....) eventually i will competely stop buying jordans.
@NickBartzis hype is a hell of a drug!!!!!!!! we're in an era were everyone is a "fashionista" and "sneakerhead" and brands see that and are taking advantage... when the hype dies and ppl realize what they're paying for, we might see some change. at the end of the day we have the upper hand we are the consumers... if we take stand and not buy their stuff they will have to change their greedy ways
@RoyRoy @Podeine @isaacdexx u said that KD didnt want his shoes to go over 100$ . But look at his shoe prices now .They have very little power of the price. The only say so they have is the type of feel they want their shoes to be. Nike is going to keep increasing the price. At the end of the day its a business. If shoes are selling out for $200+ , they are going to test the market to see when their customers are going to stop buying shoes. Lebron grew up very poor and now a multi-millionaire. Do you really think he want his shoes to be that expensive for his fans -___- ?
Word up... And I don't even trip over retro quality Cuz I kno I'm not gonna hoop in them or wear them everyday...
@Da_Real_Big_Infinite I agree 100%.
We only have our selves to blame. Nike is just doing good business. If people were hesitant to cop every time the prices went up Nike probably would have kept the prices the same for a while. But you're right every sellout tells them "hey the customers are cool with this". So why would they not? How many people running a business would turn down an opportunity to make more money selling the EXACT SAME PRODUCT YEAR AFTER YEAR.
"Fashion purposes". Hence the reason the quality varies from release to release. I don't think they are worried about anyone having issues while ballin in them.
Most people won't drop $200+ on a shoe to hit the courts with.
I mean I agree wit ya babe, but at da same time if dudes spent 250 on Lebron 9 elites wit paint chipping problems, 200 or 250 fa extension models & 260 or 280 fa elite 10s, 200+ fa nikeID versions when half of da consumers thinkin da 9s were better then da 10s, people will spend 200 for these easily jus fa da advance technology & for on court performance. Even tho da majority of da consumers use them fa fashion purposes... Its jus da way it is now. As long as Kobe, KD, Lebron, Jordan keep gettin all these sell outs, u can expect more price increases. It basically comes down to buyin or not. Buy into da hype or walk ya own path... I mean da next to Js are 185 (Bel Air) & 225 (Lab5) respectively & I'm sure they will sell out in less then 1 min... So as long as they keep sellin out & dudes are willing to pay outlandish resell prices fa shoes, prices will continue to rise... I can only imagine wat Nike wit tax fa Nike basketball elite shoes next spring
@Creepy Pervert 2013 you are right..most people are not able to think clearly, its just a sneaker...(including me..although i have started changing my mind the last few months)
