SBTG’s name is one that was ringing bells well before the current crop of custom talent popped up. It appears that the master is now ready to pass his skills on to a group of pupils. This video captures bits of a lesson dished out by Mr. and Mrs. Sabotage, who gave the attendees a heads up on necessary skills like deglazing and applying paint to leather. Stay with us after the click to get a complete look at the recap and then let us know if you’d put down money to get these kind of tips from your favorite custom sneaker creator. Also, get in touch with SBTG if you feel like signing up yourself.

I would love if sneakernews would feature more stuff like this. Tricks of the trade from the best in the business. Stuff like using acetone to take the gloss of the shoe before you paint, stenciling, using temporary tattoos and decals for graphics, what paints work best, using a wood burning tool to create realistic elephant print, how to take the midsole off a shoe, ect. Maybe having a collection of videos and tips. Please keep it coming.
This is similar how I learned doin' customs. Watched Jgoods tutorial video and info from another sneaker customizer. Man, designs are just infinite for any sneaker especially for AF1's. Literally, JUST DO IT hahaha....
@aintnojoke1 Thanks for the kind comments. :) There should be more classes coming along soon !
@MelvinBetaphats @aintnojoke1 Awesome! I'd be interested in how you apply graphics to your customs. I've messed around a little with temporary tattoos and water slide decals but neither give a bold color and tend to fade and crackle over time. I don't really have the artistic skill to hand paint that kind of stuff, so I'm always trying other options. Anyways, love your stuff and keep the classes coming. Thanks.
