Fans of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II had it pretty good in 2013. There were those super limited “Wimbledon” and “US Open” pairs, releases precluded by the return of Andre Agassi to the Nike fold. It seems like that return will opening the floodgates for plenty more retros in 2014. You can add the Nike Air Tech Challenge II in its OG “Lava” colorway to that list, a pair that’s previewed here amongst a couple other interesting releases. See the full trio with us after the break and tell us if you’ll be stocking up on the Nike Air Tech Challenge II come the flip of the calender.

So will there be a "Australian Open" and "Roland Garros" exclusive as well? Lava's are a Definite!

Would it be comfortable to play in for tennis?

PERFECT!  Now if we could just get the Nike Air Flight Huarache, I'd be set.

I still have a fresh pair of Lava's from 2008 but they're too big, I have to get another pair, wish they were releasing the Citrus colorway too.

I CANNOT WAIT. Growing up as a tennis player and being one of the biggest Andre Agassi fans ever, im tooo excited already for this, not to mention the ATC II is arguably one of fave shoes of all time!

@BennyHill highly unlikely, esp since its a retro, the features of the ATC II arent't eaxctly fit for today's standards, example I play with the courtballistec 4.3 which has features of Nike Air, Lunarlon and a Drag-On outer for ultimate cushioning and flexibilty, if the ATC II retro is in all leather like it appears to be, I personally would not play in them as a serious tennis player but maybe for show once in a while when i'm playing with people not as skilled!
