Considering the thousands that showed up for Sneaker Con DC this weekend, it just wouldn’t be right for us to only drop off a couple hundred photos featuring the most interesting of wears from the day. The next on feet recap from Sneaker Con DC September 2013 is right here. This set sort of leans towards DC’s local footwear flavor-as geographically favorite categories like New Balance and Nike Foamposite end up heavily represented. Continue reading to get a feel for what we mean in this second on-feet recap for the latest Sneaker Con show and, as always, feel free to lampoon or praise any of the pictured sneakers down in the comments.

Nothing special, I wanted to see some real og heat like the air jordan 15's-21's and og converse grandmamas, and other shoes, not the shoes that are releasing now or recent releases, thats what was flooded in this sneaker con, nothing but mostly foams, and same hyped suck ass jordans. Much respect for the people that are switchin in up and buying reeboks, filas, and ewings.
Monkey see, monkey do with the kids today, I tell you. Mufukas spending all they $ on kicks, & dressing like bums. SMFH
Those coralines, maroon 11 lows, fear 5s, foamposite lite (kryptonite) & Carolina & mocha foams are best out of dis group fa me

@Fernand62053217 nigga are you retarded did u not see those retro 16s?? or how bout those white neutral grey 1s ?!?!
@nwyrkg i noticed that a lot of money is spent on shoes, but not on decent clothing to match.
@2Fly2Fall those Kobe YOTS at the bottom of pg3 are waaaayyy too big, seems like it would make the shoes crease more easily too.I'm not with the keeping shoes untied either, especially the Jordan 8 straps open, looks sloppy and takes away from the look of the shoe
@2Fly2Fall I think your idea could be due to the way ppl are wearing their shoes. In some cases for those who wore pants with their kicks, the "in" style is to wear fitted jeans or pants. It may seem like the shoes are too big because some ppl actually have big feet but choose to wear fitted jeans or pants. The juxtaposition of small or "fitted" pants with big feet makes the shoes look bigger than they really are.
@YURAKAPTIV @2Fly2FallPersonally, I thought the only rule to go by is how comfortable you feel in the shoes. For example, I buy my shoes one size up. I refuse to rock tight shoes. And I rock them AS LOOSE AS POSSIBLE because that's my style. Added bonus is my shoes don't crease. Mostly because they're not choked tight to conform to the bendable areas of the foot or others "shoe standards". Side note, I have more of a problem the dude came to a Sneaker Con with dingy, dirty Jordan 8's than "loose straps." IMO dirty kicks are the ULTIMATE faux pas! Besides, who straps up 8's anyway?
naw, if you look at some of the pictures and take notice of where the heel of the shoe in comparison to the person's ankle as far as space. you can tell the shoe is to big. When buying shoes ive been told you should only be able to stick your index finger or index and middle finger between the heel of the shoe and the heel of your foot. if you can stick more than two of those fingers in the back of the heel of your shoe the shoes are to big.
I strap up my 8's im kind of a clean crisp type person like if the shoes has straps I use them. if the shoe have laces I tie them like having neatly tired shoes. I hate dirty kicks too that's just wrong. I'm just saying it you buy a shoe just make sure it not to big to the point it's obvious.
