The phrase ‘winter ball’ brings to mind images of ornate snow-themed decorations at fancy dances, or maybe baseball played in what’s traditionally considered the offseason. The second is a bit closer to what Three Stripes has in mind, but it’s not baseball they have in mind as you can see from this silhouette strongly resembling the brand’s 1980s hoop shoes. The adidas Originals Winter Ball is a hightop whose shape and Dellinger web cushion bring to mind some of the mid-80s’ signature looks, but with brass D-ring eyelets and Primaloft insulation, it’s clear these were made for conquering the elements more than the hardwood. Have a closer look at this pair someone’s bound to call ‘Gucci’ thanks to its hunter green, black and red makeup with a bit of gold, then pick up yours at Originals accounts like Oneness.
