Tahj N Turner     CITY: Baltimore, MD          MOMENT: 1997 NBA All-Star Game in the Eastern Conference locker room. When Dikembe Mutombo talks trash to Michael Jordan‘s face about how in his six years in the NBA, MJ had never dunked on him.

My favorite Dikembe Mutombo moment is when he played the Minnesota Timberwolves in his 1992 rookie year and scored 39 points with 21 rebounds and 4 assist. He was really one the only centers to be consistent and start every game for 10 years straight!!!! Putting in work on every level

My favorite Dikembe Mutumbo moment was when I got the chance to meet him at SneakerCon NYC. It was real cool seeing how big he was compared to me and I can only wonder how terrifying it must have been on the court for other players against him . NO NO NO !

My favorite Mutombo moment is his world famous finger wave after every shot block. He transformed the way basketball players react to a defensive triumph in basketball, as well as many other sports. His relentlessness on the defensive end shows the passion and tenacity Mutombo had for the game of basketball because he knew to be a great player is to be a team player and have your teammates back. This also shows that Mutombo also has a great personality, as we have seen in numerous commercials. He is definitely one of the great centers to play the game and is an ambassador of basketball. Mutombo is an icon andrepresents his country well. Salute to Dikembe Mutombo.

My favorite Dikembe Mutombo moment would have to be the playoffs in '94 when the nuggets upset Seattle in game 5, Mutombo was so critical in that win, he battled in the paint the whole game and played with so much heart. The end of the game when he fell to the floor and held the ball over his head was such a great moment for the NBA and for sports, he was so happy and joyful. Outside of basketball you can't denote what Dikembe has done in the form of a humanitarian, such a classy honorable man, he does so much to help others. A true role model for not only basketball players but for people in general!

My favorite Mutombo moment was either when he blocked MJ twice in one game or when he dunked on the taller Manute Bol because he is known as a shot blocker and defender, so I think it's pretty amazing how he posterized the taller Bol.

My favorite Dikembe Mutombo moment in NBA was his third year 93 with the nuggets when they won game five he layed down on the court with the ball over his with joy. He held record of 31 block in a game series, his one of the best basketball players that came out of African his behavior in and out the was wonderful. I like the fact that now his feeding NBA players with his skills. Dikembe Mutombo shoes in 1993 was the bomb him and shaq had adidas in the game with hightop.

My favorite memory is Dikembe Mutombo's dunk on Manute Bol. Many remember Mutombo for getting dunked on or blocking shots throughout his career, but Mutombo dunking on the taller Bol sticks out in my mind.

Michael BarbatoEdison, New JerseyThere are many great moments that I experienced watching Dikembe Mutombo but my all-time favorite had to be when him and the Denver Nuggets upset the Seattle Supersonics in the playoffs. Also, during those 5 games, he blocked 31 shots and received a defensive player of the year award. That is my favorite moment of Dikembe Mutombo's career. Thank you for taking the time to read my request.

Ethan Moughler Butler, IndianaMy favorite moment in mutombo's life would have to be his time at Georgetown, he originally went to major as a doctor but Jon Thompson recruited him to the basketball team and he was a star imediately and carried on the tradition of good big men coming out of Georgetown. He eventually became the fourth overall pick in the 1991 draft by the Denver Nuggets. He even made the all star team as a rookie averaging 16 point a game and a lot of rebounds but I can't remember the exact number haha. Just an overall great player!
