Nike CEO, CFO, and President Discuss Future of the Brand
When the people at the helm of the world’s biggest sportswear brand talk, it’s usually a pretty good idea to listen. Bloomberg TV recently sat down with some of Nike’s head honchos, speaking with CFO Donald Blair, Brand President Trevor Edwards, and CEO/President Mark Parker to discuss the Beaverton based brand’s rich history of innovation and goals for the future. The interviews took place at the recent Nike Investor’s Day summit, a day that placed their growth in perspective with the mention of the massive $36 billion fiscal year they’re planning on delivering as of 2017. I see the 36 billion dollar figure for fiscal 2017 and think that means Foams for $350, Lebrons for $300, etc.
They need to address the real issue, why not bring production back to the United States and not china, and how to prevent kids from killing kids by producing more for general releases and raffles only for limited runs example DB v
Just wish Nike would have better designers in the future hahaha.... JUST DO IT, literally. Right now, sneaker customizers > Nike designers.
