Yes this Air Jordan 8 Low is indeed a player exclusive, despite the striking similarities it has to that 2003 Air Jordan VIII Low general release sporting the same white/metallic silver combination. The difference comes here in the form of the #1 stitched on to the strap, which brings in the little bit of red seen on the sneaker to make them Blazers appropriate. Keep in mind this isn’t the only time this particular sneaker has been upgraded to PE status like this-Mike Bibby’s pair was also conspicuously close to the retail version.
