Nike LeBron 11 “Forging Iron” – Officially Unveiled
The Nike LeBron 11 “Forging Iron” will release globally in November, 2013. Unfortunately Nike’s not ready to give away any more specific release info just yet, but for what it’s worth they have dropped off the official images of the sneakers. Keep in mind that that speckled style “Forging Iron” option is one that will also be available on NIKEiD, so you can create your own version of the sneakers if the orange doesn’t suit you. Nike pays tribute to the process that forms iron with the LEBRON 11 “Forging Iron” colorway. Its unique blend of colors is taken from the molten metal’s metamorphosis. The fiery shades of orange represent the iron when the metal is at its most malleable—fresh from the furnace. A subtle fade effect represents sparks, while a metallic green hit on the Swoosh represents the transitional, temporary part of the process—cooling to a new shade and finished with an ice outsole.
There are no short cuts to forging iron. It’s a craft, a skilled process that requires a precise application of force and fire to achieve strength. It’s about accuracy under pressure when the temperature is at its peak and is the perfect metaphor for LeBron.
The LEBRON 11 Forging Iron will be available globally at select retail locations and Nike.com in November. Consumers can create their own versions using the LEBRON 11 Forging Iron graphic from NIKEiD.
So how come they got released in the U.K. this morning on Nike.com if this was suppose to be a global release?
will theses actually come with that box because the kobe 8 superheroes were supposed to come out with pretty much the same box but never did. Not bad but way too simple, waiting for the terracotta warriors (someone should definitely all-sat custom these)
