The Nike Zoom Sonic Flight is amongst the Gary Payton sneakers that will soon be hitting shelves. To date there have only been catalog shots as evidence, but we can at last give you a real deal glimpse of the finished product. The colorway in question is a fairly straightforward white and black one that sports a little bit of a fade under the ankle-area plastic support piece on the back end. Is the Nike Zoom Sonic Flight hybrid style a pair you’ll be trying to purchase or are you content with your Gloves? Tell us in the comments and check back in for full release info.
That entire heel section is 100% jacked from the Nike Garnett 3 and I dunno why they thought it belonged on this shoe...also, there are plenty of other Payton's we'd love like the Nike Zoom GP/Nike Zoom GP 2 and for the super greedy guy in me...the Jordan 13 Laker PEs (no chance but a man can dream) before you go batshit insane win mashups.
Man, it's been a while since I've been forced to comment on a story or its total lack of research. The title of this article (before it gets changed) is "Nike Zoom Sonic Flight Retro.". You don't really think that's a retro do you? Yes, there was a shoe in the early/mid 90's called the Air Sonic Flight, which was a mid-level basic hoop shoe. A take down of sorts for the Flight Lite/Solo Flight/Air Bound. That isn't it. Not even close. This one is very clearly a new Payton mash up a la the Spizike, 1/2 Cent & Zoom Rookie. Once again, step your research game up.
