Nike Sportswear uses the EXT tag to denote casual renditions of currently active performance models. We’ve seen it done on basketball and running shoes so far, and the most common way of creating one is to make a silhouette suede where it once was some modern synthetic material. In the case of the Nike LunarGlide+ 5 EXT Premium, it looks like the upper is still Engineered Mesh and not suede as was the case with the LunarGlide 4 EXTs. The key differences that set this ‘Night Run’ LunarGlide 5 apart from earlier drops is the striped ribbon running from heel to toe, a particularly bold look given that the upper is already an eye-catching zebra stripe. Check them out in more photos after the jump, then grab yours from top NSW retailers like Kith.
