Trinidad James was immediately catapulted into the rapper/sneakerhead conversation upon the release of his first single “All Gold Everything” thanks to that line about not buying shoes unless they’re popular. He’s kept it up since then, doing his best to show his fans that he’s been into footwear for more then a minute. Most recently James launched his new web series “Camp James”, which will apparently consist of looks at his latest pickups and his collection at large (The first episode starts out with an impressive Air Jordan II retro sample from 1994). That does get annoying as fuck after a while. I don't get how they just ignore it. If they had the alarm that's in my bedroom they'd sure as hell change the batteries because it sounds like it's going off.
Man, I don't even care what rapperhave on their feet. There are regular sneakerheads out there who will blow the doors off of a celebrity's collection. Having a closet full of Jordans or JSO by adidas don't make you shit. Go after rare shit that you won't find in Finish Line or have a mix of both. Any one of us can brag about having 100 AF1's but all are from Foot Locker.
