With the success of the Dunk Sky Hi with ladies looking for the wedge sneaker look that’s so hot right now, it’s a bit of a surprise we haven’t seen something similar on the venerable Air Force 1.  Nike Sportswear will bypass the original form and go straight for the update next year, as the Nike Lunar Force 1 Sky Hi makes its first appearance.  The Lunar Force 1 Sky Hi is different from other Nike wedge sneakers in that the heel height isn’t hidden within the shoe, but rather fully on display with an enlarged midsole.  These also use a new buckle for the ankle strap and what appears like it could be some of the JCRD material or perhaps another kind of textile on the dazzlingly striped toebox and mid panel.  Click in to see two colorways coming up for 2014 and let us know your first opinion of the Lunar Force 1 Sky High.
