The next iteration of the Nike Flyknit Chukka is this – a beefed up pair with an OMS outsole on the bottom. The Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB is set to be the medal stand model for US athletes at next year’s at Sochi Winter Olympics sort of in the same way that the Nike Flyknit Trainer was spotted on-feet for US athletes during last year’s Olympic games. The upper sports some USA detailing on the tongue and a little bit of 3M reflective material underneath the knit, while the toe-box and heel opts for a fortified “tape”-style add-on to fit more inclement, winter weather. A release for this particular USA-specific colorway of the shoe hasn’t been confirmed and will likely be a limited release if at all, but expect a series of colorways to hit retail.
