Black Friday figures to be one of the biggest sneaker days in all of 2013, and one major part of that is DJ Clark Kent‘s collaboration with Nike Skateboarding. DJCK applies his signature ‘112’ look to the DJ Clark Kent x Nike SB Dunk Low and P-Rod 7 Hyperfuse Max, which for the uninitiated, means a combination of Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ colors and Elephant print. Volt hits on both pairs really bring the otherwise black/grey palettes to life, and reflective 3M makes for an exclamation point in the right light. Have a closer look at the collection including some apparel after the jump, then be ready when they go on sale this Friday at shops like Premier.
@matpan730 WELL......I WOULDN'T SAY THAT'S NESSECCARILY TRUE. FOOT ACTION DOES SELL SB ERIC KOSTON (AT LEAST AT THE MALL HERE IN AUGUSTA, GA.) BUT THEY WON'T SELL SB DUNKS OR BLAZERS. AND DEFINITELY NOT QUICKSTRIKES, NOT OF NIKE, JB, NIKE SB OR NIKE 6.0.
I'm sorry, but Nike messed up on those Dunks big time. Why in the hell isn't the elephant print on that lower toe panel to be in conjunction with the back heel panel? Nike always does that with AF1's and Dunks: where the front and back panels are totally different with the Swoosh just looking like it's hanging there all lonely.
@sole_serious Well, let's see...ummmmm....because that is how the original "112" AF1 is blocked, and since this a continuation of the original three. I am sure he (Kent) wanted to stick to the OG style.
@sole_serious i hear you. that 3m isnt too durable. one pair of my trainer 112's cracked on me after less than 5 wears from DS.
