Even if you wouldn’t consider yourself an expert on 1980s adidas, you’re probably more familiar with this soon to return classic than you think.  See, the adidas Originals Metro Attitude is the familiar shape at the heart of several of Jeremy Scott’s Three Stripes collabs, most notably both JS Wings silos, as well as all the plush-tongued bears and other animals.  What you might not have realized is that the Attitude was launched as a Patrick Ewing signature shoe.  That history is referenced here with his original logo on a flier with the date Friday, January 10th, which means we’re about six weeks away from one of the best adidas basketball shoes ever returning in its original form.  Stick with Sneaker News for updates and photos and let us know which is your favorite adi classic.
