New Balance 1500 “Binary” Sample

There are 10 types of people in this world-those who can understand the tongue tag on those New Balance 1500 samples and those who can’t. For the less nerdy among you, those ones and zeros across the tongue are a bit of binary code, presumably meant to stand in for ASCII characters. A little bit of translation churns out the numbers “1984”, which is a little confusing since the the shoe made its debut later on in the decade.
