The fourth chapter in arguably the dopest sneaker tribute to cinema yet releases one week from today.  The Extra Butter x Asics GT Cool ‘Sidewinder’ will be releasing in-store next Saturday, January 4th with reservation tickets being given out this Thursday evening beginning at 7PM (online release is 1/6).  It’s like the ‘California Mountain Snake’ Gel Epirus that preceded it in its use of a just recently reintroduced classic model.  The ‘Sidewinder’ GT Cool is also in step with one of the biggest trends of the moment, utilizing an all-over print comprising symbols referencing specific scenes featuring this colorway’s character muse.  Click in for a video and some new photos and let us know if this is the best pair yet from Extra Butter’s ‘Death List 5′ pack.

I am so sorry, but this is the most disappointing Asics collab pack since Bait dropped those uninspiring "Olympic 5 Rings" group. I rather have this year's "Christmas Pack". Been some of the most boring Asics drops along with Ronnie Feig's Salmon Toe, Giants, Dolphins and Flamingo. Asics collabs fell off this year anyways oppose to the wonderful kicks of 2012.

Wow, how do you design 5 uniquely ugly pairs of sneakers?  I stopped buy EB's store in manhattan after the copperhead was released, I was hoping that seeing the actual shoe would be different than watching em on the web but there weren't any available.  I wondered who bought them all, now I see lots of copperheads available on ebay.

@sole_serious I think this year had some dope asics. What about the ones from Hanon, Cncpts three lies, and a bunch of others. You guys are entitled to your opinion. But i have seen worst asics and these aren't that bad and pretty dope if you can grasp the concept.

@BlackMaGiC1o0 @sole_serious Well, I guess the Gel Lyte V "Volcano" were alright. My homie wasn't that thrilled about his Bait "Phantom Lagoon".I wish I could've got a pair of H&L's "Brick and Mortar". Of course the biggest Asics shoe to drop this year wasn't even a collab: Gel Lyte lll "urban camo". I make comparisions to the prevoius years when I look at the GL3 from atmos, Hanon, Woei and others like the Foot Patrol. I don't quiet count the Colorado 85 "Wildcat 2" or Northern Liites" at Asics, though them and Onitsuka Tiger is the same company. So maybe not that bad this year.
