Back in July, we proudly launched Sneaker News SELECT – a premium showcase that would allow us to tell deeper stories and give an extra spotlight to some of the most interesting topics swirling around the sneaker world. The idea was that once a day, we would slow down from the breakneck speed of the oncoming news flow to really take our time on bringing you something with more substance than your typical blog post. As a result, we delved into all sorts of nooks and crannies and came back with some stories that we hope have taken you further inside the industry.

Here on SELECT, we’ve talked shoes with some of the game’s top designers and shops, not to mention some sneaker-centric celebrities and personalities and a carefully chosen handful of the world’s most accomplished collectors. With 2013 coming to a close, we thought we’d round up some of our favorite SN SELECT stories from the year in case you missed any of them, so continue on for a look at the highlights.
