What direction will Foamposites go in 2014? This past year marked a major shift in Nike Sportswear’s approach to the beloved Penny sneakers, as it was the first one on record that had more graphic Foamposites than it did solidly colored ones. And yes, some of those patterned releases were lambasted, but a good number of them also pleased the public. Consider the results of our recent Best and Worst Foamposites of 2013 poll: the “Weatherman” and “Thermal Map” pairs were the least favored while the “Oregon” and “Fighter Jet” were the favorites. Regardless of public opinion, it seems like graphic releases will continue to be the norm as evidenced by the upcoming “Spider Man” and “Silver Camo” versions for 2014 that are on display here. Continue reading to see the full results of the Foamposite poll as well as the two confirmed 2014 releases, and let us know in the comments if you think Nike will continue down the “graphic” path while sprinkling in a few tonal colorways.

Every release from 2013 was garbage. Depending on where you're from, some sold and some sat on shelves.
all last year I think the lead designer of foam colorways at Nike was on a acid high,the whites outs were inspired by him getting so high he thought he saw the light,the spidermans are when he was coming off his high and the other two show he's good now,2013 was a wild ride for foams but I think we'll be okay folks
foams are dying, all you hypebeasts all blinded of that because of their resell value. The only reason why when they initially released they retailed for a lot is because it cost nike a ton of cash for the mold. now a days foams sit on shelves, they are dead! Three years ago they released once a year, and when they did they sold fast. Nike, releasing 11 color ways in one year makes them not special. Foams died by nike over releasing them.
poll looked about right to me. by the way those Oregon duck foams were terrible i believe thats why they made it so exclusive because had it been a regular general release they would have sat on shelves
I shoulda had a option where you could pick all of them for least favorite and none of them for most favorite .
It's about time to start re-releasing some of these foams.The coppers, pewters, royals, pearls, eggplants, fuck it bring 'em all back.
Thermal and weatherman are not bad I think its all about the taste the camo and Oregon are nice but when I from the first 2 was sold out the safari and asteroid are in store yet the white out sold out the same day of the arrive the Oregon never came to life please release the white again to many sneakerhead are upset for not cop this bad boys release same day of 11 lows Jordan many left the foamposite and take the lows please release white out again!!!!!!!

@sneakernews might as well drop the same colorways as 2013 .
@sneakernews I pray death
Judging from the President of Hype the Supreme Foams show you the direction Nike will be taking. They are going to bleed the prints and patterns dry then come back with some OG colors in the mix. I put money on it...
If Nike payed attention to the sale #s of the graphic foams that released from last summer on, they'd learn to stick to solid colors.
@VNTG_BMW XD hahahha
@TylerN117 exactly, all them shyts was dirt on the low
@Scouma 225? nah...200 even
