Nike Kobe 9 to Release in Michael Jackson and Air Jordan III-Inspired Colorways
Kobe Bryant has apparently promised that his Nike Kobe 9 sneaker will get a bit nostalgic and pay tribute to a couple of his personal heroes. According to ESPN writer Dave McMenamin, Bryant himself recently spoke on the sneaker and referenced an upcoming version in homage to Michael Jackson as well as a nod to his favorite pair from another MJ-that would be the Jordan III. Specifically he mentioned elephant print playing a part in the latter. Feel free to give us your best guesses as to what these pairs might look like via the comments section below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for developments.

if it doenst have rhine stones its not inspired by MJ. Like in the rock with you video. I doubt it can be pulled off but thats one of the first things i think of when Michael Jackson is bought up. Such a dope song & Video.
80% of HOH employees can go to hell with these scandalous raffle tixs. If you miss a call then call back they say" O you have to pick up the phone". MF people worked during the day!!!! So glad I have a connect.
Will local footlockers/house of hoops just start having them on hand or am I doomed to the mercy of ebay?
makes sense...kobe said once in an interview the ajiii is his fav jay..please make this cw in the mid flyknit version thou!!
my guess.. michael jackson colorway will be inspired by his red jacket w/the zippers. so a red shoe with black threads in the mix. the flywire and laces will be silver. the 9 stitches on the heel will be silver as well.
as for the jordan 3 inspired... white and grey flyknit patter ... and the sides will have the elephant print. red on the mid sole.
@Jaysdaname Damn i didn't know that. Go heads up though, $h!T knowing me i never pick up my phone haha
@Kev Loco you probably right but i hope not just because its predictable.
@VeNoM911 hell depends on who u are your still at the mercy of dirty employees at HOH
@creativeoverflow I think they might go the route of incorporating MJ's infamous glove onto the shoe
