The Vans OTW collection is mostly known for its sophisticated take on the classic Off the Wall skate shoe library, but here’s a case where it goes to the next level with a concept driven pack that furthers the street level appeal. The ‘Block Collection’ celebrates LA streetwear by taking input from local influencers who represented for their neighborhoods with each respective design. The Vans OTW Bedford is said to reference “’90s court sneaker styling with poly canvas uppers, leather mudguard panelling and sport laces in a two-toned color palette.” Then there’s the Prescott in off-white, channelling one of the original Authentic colorways, but with new details like a plaid lining. Rounding out the trio is the woven Tesella, whose upper represents the iconic Vans Checkerboard pattern. They’re dropping this March following a block party at Los Globos on Sunset this Saturday, so click in to see the full set, then get ready to cop yours from retailers including straight from Vans.
