The Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 project is one of the more practical mashups from the Swoosh that we’ve ever seen, as there is indeed a rich history of skateboarders appropriating the Air Jordan 1. What’s more, the team up was put together in part by Craig Stecyk, a man who has a particularly important pedigree as far as the skateboarding world is concerned. Gathered here is an additional set of images for the shoes, which includes a look at the unique tongue tag featuring the same “Imagine” hit as the classic Air Jordan 1 “Banned” release. Remember that the Craig Stecyk pair is the first of three Nike SB x Air Jordan 1s for 2014 (Lance Mountain is also getting his own pair). @12obbyGene cant wait to see the other two!
@sneakernews upset with these.. This is a big collab and this is it ? Rather just buy another pair of tiff
Nothing special here too me. I was expecting holy grails...we basically got a weird AJ1 color with a SB logo on tongue.
@sneakernews are they quickstrike?
@sneakernews nice combination SB X JORDAN RETRO 1 !!
@sneakernews any idea on price?
@sneakernews it should have a dunk sole too
@sneakernews what makes these an SB?
@TylerClingman @sneakernews normally the difference b/w SB dunks and dunks/AJ1 are the double stitching on the toe cap, rolled edges on the toe cap as well. Thicker midsole and the zoom air tech in the heel, heavier padding on the collar and a gusseted fatter/padded tongue.
@iSwoo9 BP said roughly 800 pairs.
@SockandSole More photos in this set, but I agree. Get ready for at least 3 more before Friday night.
@Thomas_W 800? Well damn, seems bots are gonna get those before a heap of us, smh. Who's BP anyway?
