It’s no big stretch to say that the “Kennedy” version injected a new lifeblood into the New Balance 999. It should be no surprise then that subsequent releases for the silhouette have had just a little bit of that DNA. This new group for example sticks with the nautical looking laces and the nylon panel wrapping the heel (Save for the red pair, which is sort of the odd man out here).
