The Air Jordan 2 is the latest of silhouettes to get mashed up with the Air Jordan 1 via the hybridized retro series marked off by the year of the mixed-in shoe. Hence, the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’96. The sneakers, apparently arriving in April, feature the Jordan Wings logo on the tongue, that billows shape on the back end, and in this case a Safari texture that perhaps suggests that the Jordan 2 “Night Shade” will be releasing after all. How does this pair match up against others like the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’89 or the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’95? Tell us down in the comments after you see the rest of the photos for this upcoming Air Jordan release.

These were a eye opener because there were no ads and on the retro one there aren't many out about them??? But I got the home did even know it until I open the box that the were the 2s and 1s mashed I think new colorways will prove this to be a top shoe in the Jordan brand collection

what they should be inspired to take from the jordan 2 is the ORIGINAL italian leather

These are much better than most of the other Jordan Retro 1 '8X pairs, but dang just stop it JB

Looks like Jordan brand is on the path of f*****' up J's hahahaha..... man, they need NEW DESIGNERS.

Safari print: OK

Classic wings logo on tongue: Cool

AJ II toe box perforations: Not bad

AJ II heel: Naw, man

Why does JB feel the need to fuse the 1s with everything. Yet compared to the 1s fused with the 10s, they're not horrible.

well since they have made them...i think they are one of the better the safari maybe itll be super premium like the OG 2s

No no no! Stop with the Frankenstein retro. They can be serious! Why change the blue print?
