The Nike SB Air Jordan 1 is a brand blurring project that presents some interesting implications in terms of packaging. It’s both a Nike SB and an Air Jordan – so what kind of box should it come in? For what it’s worth they’ll show up in this season’s aqua colored Nike SB box, that is unless you’re lucky enough to get your hands on this amazing promo package. Included is a heavy duty wooden box constructed from skateboard decks and topped with griptape that’s got the Nike SB logo cut out, and an actual piece from the floor of the old Chicago Stadium where Michael Jordan played from 1987-1994. The case is amazing, but why it's coupled with these green monstrosities is a complete mystery. Didn't anyone at Nike think 'How about we make these in Bulls team colors?'
Between these and those Air Max 3.26s, my theory about the Nike design team sharing a meth pipe is starting to look more and more accurate.
the shoes are a big dissapointment imo....the colorway reminds me of some jordan phat mid colorway...and the shoes don't look like they're made for skate..I mean if you're going to do a collab at least do it right man. I mean all they did was slap an sb logo on it. I doubt the changes will be noticeable. Id rather have the box to be honest it looks like they put more thought into that than the actual shoes. Too bad its just the promo set probably f&f release
@justshoes it should have been an sb base, the jordan 1 base just gets people hyped up
