What’s next from the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 team up? You’ll remember that when the project was officially announced, Nike mentioned that there would be three pairs in total coming for 2014, and as of now we’ve got a glimpse at the second one. The next up Nike SB Air Jordan 1 from skate legends Lance Mountain and Craig Stecyk is a white and black pair with mismatched outsoles – one of them an icy blue and the other a translucent red. The video may also be hinting at a unique feature of the shoes – a “scratch-off” white layer that reveals something even more special once the shoes are worn in a bit. See the clip below and watch for release info on these cross-over Jordans soon.
There taking it back to the roots of skaskateboarding. Skaters use to buy aj1s cheap and paint them so no-one could tell they were a basketball shoe. One shoe is gunna be the bred and other is royal.
Scratch-off sounds deep, especially when you skate in your SBs. If they do that I will be really looking forward to it.
seems like you guys a free styling it a lil bit. that mismatched pair are probably samples and my 1st thought was aj1xcomulbia xi mix but who knows and the all white pair are clearly neither.
Disagree. Those could be samples or who knows what. And where in the world did the video hint at a "scratch off" effect? If that is referring to him painting the one shoe - who is to say that is what it is? They could have just been filming him messing around in the testing phase or something. That wasn't even the JBxNSB AJ1 - It had the jumpman on the tongue. It's all pure speculation.
