The Air Jordan 14‘s 2014 run just got a little bit deeper with the reveal of this new colorway. The sneakers feature a rich red suede treatment across the upper and yellow/black in supporting roles. The Air Jordan XIV in general was inspired by Michael Jordan’s love of the Ferrari, and this pair seems to go even further with that inspiration between the carbon fiber touches, the black/yellow logo, and the red body (There’s actually an ancient red suede sample that looks similar floating around out there). Get the rest of the photos on them after the break and keep in mind that these should be at Jordan Brand accounts for Fall, 2014.
this the picture i was talking about see the red 14s they are very similar to the ones in this article
I like how sleek these look! I honestly would much rather a sew version to show the accents in design that I enjoy on the 14's but these will no doubt do for me I say COP!
People actually like these huh?
I'm trying to decide if these are worse than those poo Jordan Futures....
Are you an Adidas employee or something? If you don't like this sure just say so politely. No need to foul mouth. This is clearly a well designed and colored shoe.
So this shoe is considered well designed? They LITERALLY just took the silhouette from the 14's and removed all the stitching.
Throw on some cheap red suede and watch the hypebeasts go crazy....
I've never even worn a pair of Adidas. Jordan brand is just lazy at this point creatively. You weirdos keep supporting these awful ideas so they keep pumping out the same lazy, low quality designs.
Now that last statement I don't agree. There may by coops working, but they always report to a lead designer.
Not really trying to change his mind. Just pointing out obvious things about Jordans these days.
I'm dropping out the race. I just don't really understand Jordan Brand's direction with shoes like these 14's and the Futures.
Personally I think JB has non-paid interns designing shoes these days
This argument has been going on forever. You're writing a whole page trying to convince someone about a shoe when you're not going to change his mind...
1st. Spell better. That broken English you just typed is hard to read. I have seen them in person. I know an idiot who bought them. Didn't try them on since they weren't my size.
2nd. If the Futures are high quality, why hasn't JB been using the same quality with any other retros they have released? The futures are not at all worth what they costs. A midsole that almost 20 years old, some 3m that should have been on the 13 retros, and a few pieces of straps of high quality leather? The futures aren't worth a dollar over $80. I bet the most expensive thing on the futures are the lace tips.
3rd. The leather and woven has more to do with fit than cushion. The midsole and sole from the Futures is the EXACT same sole from the 11s that they have been using since 1996. I have had OG, Retro, and Retro+ 11s. Maybe they beat out Roshes, but that sole is NOT AT ALL more comfortable than any current major Nike running shoe. If you are trying to tell me that the cushion from the 11s is better than lunarlon, you sir, are an idiot.
4th. You are missing my point on the futures. You dudes just don't get it... It has NOTHING to do with less people wearing them. That's stupid to even think that. If your goal is to wear something nobody has, you got plenty of Team Jordans you could buy.
The reason the Futures were limited is so JB could get a feel for demand. It's all about business. They limited quantities so none would be sitting in a warehouse or on shevles not getting sold. Now that they know dummies like you and my friend will buy anything with a Jumpman on it, we will see 20+ colors of Jordan Futures.
I won't EVER buy a pair of Futures simply because I don't wanna support trash. If people keep buying trash like the Futures, then JB will keep making lame fusions and avoid giving us the shoes we really want.
Da futures are made of high quality smart guy.. They are double woven fa strength as well as more comfortable then roshes & frees. And I'm a roshe guy.. U obviously have never seen nor tried them on to see da difference... And da fact dat they were limited is great Cuz u won't see many people wearin da same shoes everybody else has. Which is very refreshing.... Plus I don't do raffles or know wat bots are about. I have connects to get kicks I want easily... So how bout u experience da futures rather jus assuming they trash.. Cuz da fact is they are an amazing shoe & need a wide spread release. I know Pleeeeeenty of people wish they had a pair of futures. So u don't know wat ur talkin bout
The Futures are a TERRIBLE investment unless you are a reseller. You gotta understand that some of us actually wear shoes instead if putting them on eBay or some social network or sit em in some display case. You can't play basketball ball in the Futures since it's a lifestyle shoe. Almost every pair of Nike running shoes are more comfortable and cheaper. The Futures have no purpose.
I don't care about resell price or any of that bullshit. The Futures are a half assed designed shoe with almost 20 year old technology on em.
It's a very plain shoe with average quality at an above average price. They made the shoe limited so they wouldn't have any leftovers, now you have a resellers dream shoe.
So you base a shoes value by resell?
The reason the Futures are going for $500 is because they are LIMITED. JB put that QS label on em now the hypebeasts are going crazy. The Futures are NOWHERE NEAR worth anything more than $100.
It's simple supply and demand. Decrease supply of a somewhat popular item and demand goes up. Along with increased demand usually comes increased price.
Well, you may be right in terms in availability. Business wise, however, the futures are a much better investment. They are already hitting the 500 mark. Is that enough to convince you?
1st let me point and laugh at you for being dumb enough to buy the Futures...
Ha ha ha ha!!
Now most comfortable you say?
Roshes, Lunar Glides, Frees, and Hyperfeels are ALL more comfortable, cheaper, and higher quality than the Futures. You could get 2-3 pairs of Lunar Glides for what it costs to get one pair of Futures. Plus you can walk into any store and buy the shoes I named. No stupid raffles or bots needed.
You fools are believing the Futures are high quality cause they gave you some fancy lace tips huh?
See this is my exact problem...
The Jordan Futures are a lazy design. These 14's are a lazy design. Price goes up, whole quality and creativity goes down. People like you just defend it nonstop so JB keeps putting it out there and watching people fight of em.
Crap like this would NEVER EVER EVER release back in the good old days of JB. I don't understand why they keep waiting resources putting out poo like this and the Futures, and skipping over the retros we all REALLY want.
The shoe was "created" 16 years ago. And now re-designed with new colors. Stiching removal is also design.
The didn't "create" anything here. This is a 16 year old shoe with a colorway from the car that inspired them.
It involves more brainpower and skill to create something simple and elegante than complicated and clustered. I see sophistication in this shoe. Thats just me.
@justin747 omg dude shut up...dont like it dont buy it. dont be a buzzkill
Obviously I'm not EVER buying a pair of those goofy lookin ass shoes.
It's deeper than that tho. If they realize they can get away with selling us B.S., they will keep doing it just like they did with the Fusions a few years ago.
You gotta be a young cat. I can't see anybody who actually watched Jordan playing wearing the Futures. It's strictly a young kid shoe. They can't get away with selling a older sneakerhead that picnic basket looking bullshit
