It’s hard to believe that Kevin Durant didn’t make it to the Western Conferece All-Star team during his rookie season, but what’s more astonishing is the fact that KD had to sit out two years before playing on theSunday night show. The man who likes to refer to himself as “The Servant” did serve his time in the NBA’s rookie-sophomore game though, and today we get a refreshed look at his first official All-Star signature shoe – the Nike Zoom KD 1 that he wore during the 2009 Rookie Challenge in Phoenix. Featuring an almost-Creamsicle look of orange and navy, the shoe sports a star graphic on the medial side of the sneaker while the outer’s burnt orange contrasts with blue laces. Durant would go on to be MVP of that game thanks to 46 points in a flash of what was to come. Be sure to check out this rare Kevin Durant All-Star PE after the click and know that if you’re truly feeling this pair, you can grab them via caliuser1457 on eBay.
It looks like zero effort went into these, seriously looks like someone dropped a hot shit and slapped a swoosh on it
Has hints of the jordan phly legend . I kinda like these. Specially cause Durant is the man right now .
I still have my home & away KD 1s... Very comfortable & responsive shoe... Those all stars ain't bad
Da_Real_Big_Infinite, you already know I love my KD's, but these (1), II, and III's were not that comfortable. Actually the IV wasn't that comfortable either! From the KD I-IV all had comfort issues, in all of them you could barely feel the zoom in the forefoot. The V was the first KD were you could feel the forefoot zoom without applying much pressure. Thank God we get that full length zoom on the kd vi elite. I believe from now on Nike will start using top notch comfort in the kd line. I'm about to break out my kd II away tomorrow
Hey do u know if the xx8 is true to size in kids? Since the only released in one color ima just get the black
Hell yea... Da KD 5s & KD 6 elites are my favorite KD to date... But I really like hoopin in da KD 1s... Wilhen it comes to shoes wit zoom air instead of a air unit, u really have to break them in. Espc KDs. And u gotta remember, KD shoes didn't get dat much publicity tilda 4s hit . And u right, da 4s were not all dat comfortable compared to his 3s. Then they were super comfortable in da 5, 5 elites & now 6s & 6 elites.... And u right about Nike concentratin on KDs line now. He's bout to be MVP. So now u are witnessing da shift frum Lebron to KD. Jus like da shift frum Kobe to Lebron
You know what homie, I have on my KD II and actually they are pretty comfortable! They are more comfortable than the III and IV for sure. It's just like I said though the zoom air is not really felt unless you applying significant pressure. I took the insoles out and they are thick and soft in the II
They are true to size. If you wear a 13 get a 13 same with everything else. If you balling in em you could actually go half a size down! Mostly all Jordans fit true to size for me. Only the KD's and Lebron's be fitting to damn snug to me
I really don't know Sara... Da 28s are true to size for me in men sz. So I would assume dat they Are true to sz in big kids too
They not phasing KD over LeBron yet they phased KD into the 2nd position of the big three and moved Kobe over. LeBron gone stay at that 1 spot for awhile longer. Maaannnn... I sold my KD 3 all black and away pairs this year. I'm not gone ever sell those 1, 2, or 4's I got. I'll keep Em fresh and in a few years my son will have them
Yea, I love KD 2s. Mad people sleep on those & his 3s. His 5s are my favorite tho. Even tho consensus is da 4s
OK I just asking because they look long I thought maybe I had to size down. My Cousin found 1 pair at a Nike outlet for 70 lol
