You’ve seen the shoe already – but what was it inspired by? That would be the one-of-one Lamborghini Egoista, which, according to the supercar’s designer Walter de Silva, represents “hedonism taken to the extreme”. The transfer of car to sneaker has been a method employed by many a designer, but with the shiny TPU add-ons on the upper, the grey-based exterior on the upcoming “Team” release, and overall sporty look of the shoe, the translation seems more and more apparent now that we’ve revealed this bit of insider info. With that said, the LeBron 11 Elite, priced at $275, is far more affordable than the car, which goes for several millions. Your thoughts on this snippet of design inspiration? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more on the LeBron 11 Elite and the entire Elite Collection (hint: we’ve got something for you later tonight).
Clearly biting the idea of the Jordan 14's that were inspired by Ferrari. Sorry homie, you will always walk in the shadow of his Airness.
Should design a shoe after the Sesto Elemento. Looks better than the Egoista too so it would make a better shoe.
Bravo "sneaker news" with that said.. all this dumb ass are gonna go crazy for those piece of garbage ass shoes..it's amazing how a few words from a site can manipulate most of this brainless sucker's ...
