The Nike Roshe Run has been more and more willing to go the graphic/printed route as of late – we’ve seen palm trees, sunsets, and Liberty floral designs show up on the masterpiece Dylan Raasch creation. Showing up well before the current wave but staying relatively hidden since their creation is this Nike Roshe Run “Tech Kicks” pair. As far as we can tell they were designed by Tinker Hatfield himself on stage at some internal Nike event called the Nike Tech All-Hands Meeting on June 11, 2013. Continue reading for some on-feet shots of the shoes from this weekend’s Sneaker Con DC show and stay tuned for more on-feet angles from the show floor.
My homie works in IT at Nike and showed me these months ago. He said everyone down there thinks they're so ugly they won't wear them haha!
I work for Nike Tech and was at the all hands. I can confirm that Tinker designed the shoe with his iPad on stage. Your homie is right, most of the IT dorks think they are ugly. Personally I don't care what the shoe looks like, watching Tinker design the shoe is something I won't ever forget.
@Flash80 I rock mine for that very reason
