SELECT Preview: Exploring the Air Jordan XX9

April 30, 2014 BY / 39

FLIGHT WEB & FLIGHT PLATE

Beneath the woven upper of the Air Jordan XX9 lies another JB innovation, dubbed Flight Web. These webbed straps integrate with the lacing system to wrap your foot in a way that not only provides natural motion flexibility and lockdown, but also combines with the thin upper layer to helps to create a comfy and breathable sock-like feel with all the necessary support and stability.

Moving down towards the sole unit, the XX9 brings back the widely acclaimed energy return technology known as Flight Plate, but in new and improved fashion. Using the same combination of a Pebax moderator plate between Zoom cushioning units, the XX9 tweaks the formula by adding a narrow midfoot outsole bridge to connect the forefoot and heel for a smoother transition under foot.

I'm waiting for a better upper design or a huge discount which ever comes first.

I know these are going to be a great performance shoe but I also love the design I can't wait for these to release and it should be an easy cop since the majority seems to hate them

These are straight out of the 90s when all clothes had huge ass logos. Get you some jeans with a big ass TH on the back pockets and you'll look like a time traveler.

These are probably about to be very good basketball shoes, that look horrible. The shape, and color schemes of the three I've seen so far are a joke. It shouldn't be worth anything over $200

Almost every pair of 28s and 28se were never sold out.... they always had excess pairs to be sold and were good on he stocking of the shoes.
