The Nike Air Tailwind is about as far back as Swoosh Retros can go without coming complete with a Blue Ribbon Sports duffel bag. Originally released at the Honolulu Marathon back in 1978, Nike is bringing the sneaker bag it its truest original form. Each pair features a combination of mesh and suede true to the original release of these sneakers, while a monochromatic color blocking contrasts with a sail Swoosh, midsole and back heel complete with the original Nike branding. Today we get a look at three new pairs, ranging form a kelly green, navy, and red. As always, stick around after the click to get a better view of this latest Nike Air Tailwind retro release and stay updated with the latest sneakers headed to retail shelves via our Sneaker Release Dates page.
