If you weren’t around during British Knights’ 1980s heyday, then there’s no doubt that a little bit of the context on these chunky sneakers are lost on you. The brand approached the sneaker market more from a fashion standpoint than a tech one – sure they had proprietary technologies like their Dymacel, but the focus was more on serving casual urban youth rather than elite professional athletes.
