The battle for soccer brand supremacy has been well documented between the Swoosh and three stripes. And while Nike has been dropping a number of brand new collections in honor of the upcoming World Cup, you knew that adidas Originals wasn’t going to let them have all the fun. Their latest endeavor is this adidas ZX 5000 Response as part of their Battle Pack. The sneaker does have a corresponding soccer boot, so it makes sense that it gets a lifestyle treatment, and adidas definitely does it justice. While the shoe doesn’t make an explicit mention through a particular country’s color scheme, it instead opts for a simple white and black with a near-translucent overlay for extra support while waves of white hit the upper. Add in an orange and yellow gradient on the branding and heel tag and the sneaker is a solid addition to all of these World Cup inspirations we’ve been seeing. Pick up your pair today via Oneness.
