Jordan Brand has answered the calls for higher quality Air Jordan retros with their “remastering” of the line that’s being prepped for Spring 2015. This newly unveiled initiative is part of a concerted effort to work closer with factories to produce sneakers that sport the shape, stitching, lines, and the like that are uniform and up to the quality demanded by their “engineered to the exact specifications of championship athletes” motto (Or briefly, as close to “OG” as possible). Included in the range will be the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 7, and the Air Jordan 10 for Spring 2015 – particularly the “Columbia”, “French Blue”, and a new Red/Black/Grey colorway in respective order.
A new focus on quality will mean a price increase though – expect a jump from “10%-15% depending on the model”. This is certainly great news for those who cherish the original quality of Air Jordans, so see get a preview of these 2015 Jordans and then head to Sole Collector to read more on the upcoming remastering of Jordan Brand in their 30th anniversary year.

I love my Jordans but I will definitely slow down on buying every pair I want if there's a price increased.
Did you read the Q&A at sole collector with the VP of JB & the product line manager IMO they seem genuine and the GOAT is on board with this so no quality will not be the same are u lookin at the pics everyone else is I can smell the leather through my screen
I don't even wear Jordans anymore, but for those of you complaining about prices I hope you all are complaining about food prices, gas prices, rent/mortgage prices, and everything else! Inflation is real deal HolyField! I can't get half the groceries that I used to get a year ago!!! I'd rather hear people complain about food prices, because you need food, you DO NOT NEED JORDAN IN YOUR LIFE! #FACT... God Bless you all
@qtbigwatts so why are you on SN? smh
You might want to reread my comment bruh... I love shoes that's why I'm on SneakerNews. The correct question to ask me is why did I click on a Jordan link and I don't wear Jordans?!
STOP WITH THE DAMN INCREASES OF PRICES. Like is jordan gonna start retailing there kicks as hypebeast reseller prices. Cuz thats gonna be next.
This is for all jordan retros in future correct, imagine they drop the black infrared 6s with the original durabuck material, shit would be nuts imo
those 10s are fire, but i guarantee they still crease instantly even with crease guards just like every other 10. 4s are ok can't complain
@Spagz_WGR27 You gotta get over that man. Shoes crease. That's what they do. Trying to avoid it is kinda silly. No one really cares that much. If they do, fuck em. Let it go.
man it's really annoying to read all the complaining this is what everyone wanted today was a good day in sneaker news can't wait till 2015 & no more than a $20 increase in price is a small price to pay for an better product
What a fucking joke! Upping the price due to "quality!" Bitch please, Nike has been upping the price on Jays for they last several years.
Right so at least we are getting premium materials this time around instead of just the price increase
It's not that I didn't expect them to consider raising prices but it's funny to me how we're now gonna pay extra for what we should have been getting from the jump: a quality made shoe.
Everyone seems to bitch about the quality of the so called leather. Why don't I ever hear any comment on their paint cracking on the midsole after 1 wear. My bred 4, and thunders cracked day one but yet my military 4s have yet to crack and I wear them all the time. I shouldn't have to restore a shoe that's not even creased yet!!
@Lilmr81 The same thing happened to my Breds (and I sold my Thunders DS after hearing others complain). They definitely did a better job with the paint on the Military retro. That's the IV I wear the most too.
@Lilmr81 One wear and the paint peels? That's crazy. I've never had that experience, but then again, I don't have any 4s. Try wearing a thicker insole. Like a Dr. Scholls. It will absorb more of your weight, putting much less stress on the shoe, therefore your paint wont peel/crack as fast. I do that with most of my kicks. Got threes I've been wearing for a year now and the paint looks like it did the day I un-deadstocked them.
I bet if no purchased a retro at retail for the rest of 2014 JB/Nike would find it hard raise those prices.
Jordan brand wanna make billions or trillions of dollars in a few days; be like Rockstar Games. Supply enough shoes for everyone to buy what they like. Hilarious what it takes to buy a F*****' pair of shoes!! Payin' resellers, raffle tickets, codes, twitter, fighting, waiting in line, etc.! Desperate times comes desperate measures. Bet managers and employees gonna secretly hide more pairs or the whole shipment of EXCLUSIVE J's/Nikes SMFH. Nike/Jordan brand probably doin' this since they saw the "Shooting Stars" pack sell out at $500; they figure ok. Lets blow the price beyond the stars since people are willing to pay similar to resell prices.
how about just making all your shoes with the highest quality and materials instead of charging more for select models and still putting out shitty quality ones as well. It's bad when adidas and reebok have way better quality materials on their retro's at a fraction of the cost of anything from JB.
At the risk of sounding like a Jordan groupie, summa you CLEARLY don't understand the concept of INFLATION.
Google "INFLATION CALCULATOR" and put in the original price of a specific shoe (Ex. Concord 11), you will see that the price increase is not that far off from the inflation rate price of whatever it was in Dec 2011.
With that being said its still annoying as fuck how JB justifies the price hikes. I just wish they would have been making the got damn kicks w good quality this whole fucking time.
To think some people spend 2 weeks pay on a pair of shoes...just to get shirts from Old Navy and take the bus home when they're finished.
Anyway, I gotta have those Red 10's. But anything over $200 to me needs to be a dress shoe..AKA shoes that get better with age and only have to buy one time.
Some of us have said we'd pay a higher price for better quality. Original retail on Bin 23 releases was $175 when most retros were going for $150. If this is Bin quality, cool. They can' really bring back Columbia IVs and French Blues with cheap leather anyway. That would be a fail.
I'm still not buying Jordan brand anymore. No matter what they do. They aren't dopeboy shoes anymore! Everybody and they momma have em
The old pimp type dudes with a South Pole shirt and wrangler jeans and a durag with a knockoff nfl hat! Terrible
@qtbigwatts damn right...good point...when i see lames rocking certain shit, im done with it...and jordans have become lame with kds taking a close second as sneakers everyone and they momma wear....at least in my neck of the woods
I remember when I use to get my children the KD III, IV, and V and nobody at their school was rocking with KD. All of a sudden the whole dang school wearing them. So now I get them LeBron kicks and it's only a couple other kids that have them. We'll see where that goes, because we're in a good area and I know it won't be long until everyone has those. I haven't seen too many LeBrons here in Texas yet
@qtbigwatts true. the other day I saw this old lady my guess late 50s, rocking the 11s low concord lol
You ain't never lied G! I be seeing whole families with them on. The grandma and all. The old pimp type is the funniest
@qtbigwatts That's what happens when you buy general release shoes. Of course a lot of folks will have them. I try not to buy any shoes that's released in kids sizes as well unless I really like em. Honestly it's usually kids or folks with nothing else to rock that wear kicks as soon as they drop. I wait until everyone and dey moms stop wearing em.
If u can't afford the jump offs then go get a second job! Same niggaz sleep outside all night buy the shoe then eat dinner from dollar menu cheap ass bastards lmaooo
@SneakersOtoole84 broke niggaz always got something to say.
No matter broke or having money it's ridiculous! I'll keep buying new technology that's somewhat worth it
