There was a time when player exclusive sneakers from Nike were much more tame, opting for a simple callout by name of the connected player rather than a wild, story driven special make up. Shown here is an early pair from their PE archives, a Nike Blazer created for John Lambert. The tags aren’t showing in these photos, but the listing mentions that they are of the made in Japan persuasion (Nike sourced labor from there in the 70s and early 80s).
