In late April, Nike Sportswear celebrated a global holiday called Air Max Day – an event fabricated out of the love of Air Max sneakers. Globally renowned artist and customizer SBTG was given the task to present some altered Air Max 1s to help support the cause, and although the Air Max Day holiday is nearly two months old, we’re getting a first detailed look at SBTG’s personal flair on the classic Tinker runner. Along with the OG Sport Red Air Max 1, SBTG colored up three other Air Max 1 releases with each pair holding its own distinct camouflage pattern, leaving the pristine Air Max 1 upper relatively untouched (outside of the matching camo Swoosh logos and the SBTG branding). Check out the gallery of these incredibly customs below and let us know which is your favorite!
These are decent but nothing compares to the custom work Mark Ong was doing back in the glory days of Royalefam, I still love the custom parmamount dunks he did for me.
@"C.E.O." If you don't wear them everyday/everywhere, should be good ! but true that the mid sole paint get old easily on the airmax 1... I would definitely rock these og military pair tho, really nice job !
@"C.E.O." can't be worse than the shitty paint on jordans.
